FORMER coach of the Super Eagles, Amodu Shaibu, has revealed his intention to continue his coaching career.
Amodu said he was only being tied by his current contract with the Nigeria Football Federation which expires at the end of this month.
The former coach of BCC Lions of Gboko said: "Once a coach always a coach, some people close to seventy are still coaching and I am not close to that. The reason I have not gotten a new job is because of my contract with le NFF which expires at the end of the month, I am only waiting for the end of my contract before redefining my future."
Meanwhile, as the debate over Lagerback continues, the interim coach of the Super Eagles, Augustine Eguavoen revealed that he had spoken with Lagerback ahead of the August 11 friendly agamst Korea Republic in Korea.
His words: "Lagerback has given me his words, he said he would try to be here (Nigeria) before the end of the month but in his absence he said I could lead the team to Korea."
