AHEAD of the 2011 election, the Coalition of Patriotic Democrats (CPD), Kogi State chapter, says that the President, Goodluck Jonathan, has the capability to consolidate the Seven-Point Agenda of the late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua in 2011 and lead the country to the Promised Land.

The State Coordinator, Patriotic Coalition of Democrats, Col. Tunde Fagbemi (rtd), made this observation while speaking at the inauguration of the state executive council of the group, the ‘CPD Goodluck Initiative 2011’ in Lokoja at the weekend.

Fagbemi explained that the aim of the CPD was to ensure that Jonathan contest next year’s election, and that the group is determined to work tirelessly at the grassroots level to sell the candidature of Jonathan and ensure that he returns as president.

He described Jonathan as a sellable candidate and a man of destiny who has the wherewithal to lead Nigeria to the promised land.

He also called on state and local government coordinators to inaugurate the executives at local and ward levels, and to be transparent in their dealing with various groups to give the desired credibility.
